Dental Bridges in Surfside
Replace one or more missing teeth with a custom restoration that restores your smile, your bite and keeps your other teeth from shifting.

Fill the gap, and keep your teeth in line.
A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by “bridging” the gap with a custom restoration anchored to the teeth or implants on either side. It restores your smile, helps you chew and speak normally and keeps your other teeth from shifting.

Two ways to bridge a gap.
- Traditional bridge. Supported by crowns on the natural teeth next to the gap.
- Implant-supported bridge. Supported by dental implants, so healthy teeth are not reshaped — a great option when several teeth in a row are missing.

Bridge or implant: which is better?
A bridge is faster and does not require surgery, but it relies on reshaping the healthy teeth next to the gap and does not stop bone loss. An implant replaces the root, protects the neighboring teeth and the jawbone, and usually lasts longer.
For most patients with healthy bone, an implant is the better long-term investment; a bridge can be the right choice when implants are not an option. We will show you both options at your consultation.
