What are All-on-4 dental implants?
A full arch restoration — often called All-on-4 — replaces all of the teeth in the upper or lower jaw with a fixed bridge supported by four strategically placed implants. The two back implants are angled to make the most of the available bone, which often allows patients with some bone loss to get implants without extensive grafting. The result is a full set of teeth that stays in place, looks natural and lets you eat the foods you love again.
Who is a good candidate for full arch implants?
It may be right for you if you:
- Are missing most or all of your teeth in one or both jaws.
- Have many teeth failing due to decay, gum disease or previous dental work.
- Wear dentures and are tired of slipping, sore spots and adhesives.

Treatment day
Any failing teeth are removed and four implants are placed, with IV sedation available.
Your temporary smile
A temporary full arch is attached the same day or within 24 hours, so you leave with teeth.
Healing
Over several months, the implants fuse with your jawbone. You follow a soft diet at first.
Your final teeth
Your permanent, stronger full arch is attached and adjusted for a precise, comfortable fit.
Your post-op instructions.
The first 48 hours. Ice your face 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off, and stick to cold liquids. If you smoke, do not — smoking interferes with healing.
Eat soft, only. Follow a soft diet until the doctor or team tells you otherwise. No gum or candy during the temporary phase, and nothing crunchy — no popcorn, chips or hard foods.
For discomfort. You may alternate an anti-inflammatory such as Advil, Motrin or ibuprofen with your pain medicine, as directed.
- Keep the temporary clean. Gently brush your appliance twice a day — both the teeth and the gum area, down to where the temporary meets your natural gum.
- Rinse 3× a day with Peridex using the syringe we provide (after brushing and once mid-day). Once your sutures are removed, you will use a Waterpik under the bridge.
- A space under the bridge is normal. As swelling goes down, more space appears under the temporary. Your final bridge will not have it.
- Check it is solid, daily. If you notice any movement, call us right away so we can tighten it — movement can stress the healing implants.
Full arch is a big day. We keep it calm with conscious, oral and IV sedation.

How much do full arch implants cost?

Questions patients ask
Can I really get new teeth in one day?
Most full arch patients receive a temporary full arch the same day as their implants are placed, or within 24 hours. The permanent teeth are attached after the implants heal.
Is full arch implant treatment painful?
The procedure is done under anesthesia, and IV sedation is available. Afterward, most patients have swelling and soreness for several days, managed with medication and a soft diet.
How long do full arch implants last?
With good home care and regular checkups, the implants can last for many years, often decades. The prosthetic teeth may need maintenance or replacement over time.
Can I get full arch implants if I have bone loss?
Often, yes. Because the back implants are angled to use the strongest available bone, many patients with bone loss qualify without extensive grafting. A 3D scan confirms it.
Can I replace my dentures with full arch implants?
Yes. Many of our full arch patients are former denture wearers who wanted teeth that stay in place.

I came to Bal Harbour Smiles to get full upper and lower implants done. It was something I wanted for a very long time. Looked into a bunch of places, even considered going out of the country to get this done until I found Bal Harbour Smiles. Everything was so easy. Simi made the process very painless. I mean, I live up in Delray Beach. At this time of the day, you know, coming down here in the morning’s a two-hour drive, but I would have driven double that distance to come here to get this procedure done. I have a deep fear of the dentist from all my years of going and having all the dental issues when I was younger, but I really haven’t had to deal with that at all here. Dr. Ari’s great, all of his assistants. Had little to no anxiety on the drive down here, which is quite lengthy, so I have a lot of time to think about it, but no, I don’t feel any of that coming here. Years of substance abuse destroyed my mouth. Never smiled, lacked confidence and, you know, Dr. Ari gave that all back to me. I came to Bal Harbour hoping for redemption and getting a better smile. I’ve had smile difficulty for, I wanna say, a little over 10 years.
